Improve Your Whole Day with the I AM Bliss KISS Method

In the midst of life's chaos, it's easy to neglect our own well-being, particularly during those hurried mornings where time slips through our fingers like sand.

Before we get into the nitty gritty, lets just say that the main rule is - KISS - Keep it Simple Silly! Hence, the BLISS KISS Method.

The following tips can be done from the comfort of your bed, or while you're in the middle of accomplishing your morning tasks, like brushing your teeth, making your bed, your morning coffee, you get the idea. Make it work for you.

If you overcomplicate it, you'll begin to make excuses of why you're not doing it. So like Nike says, Just Do It!

Here's how my morning routine just got way better, and how you can achieve the same blissful state of mind:

  1. Rise with Intention: Instead of springing out of bed in a rush, take a moment to set your intentions for the day. Embrace the stillness and let your mind slowly awaken to the possibilities that lie ahead. This simple act of mindfulness can set a positive tone for the hours to come.

  2. Mindful Movement through Yoga: Dedicate a few minutes to gentle yoga stretches in bed or by your bedside, that not only release physical tension but also create space for mental clarity. As you move through the poses, focus on your breath and let go of any negative energy that may have accumulated within you. This practice can leave you feeling lighter and more grounded.

  3. Nourish Your Mind with Meditation: Before your look at your phone, allow your mind to settle, bringing your focus to the present moment. By quieting the mental chatter, you can create a sense of inner peace that will guide you throughout the day.

  4. Cultivate Gratitude and Joy: Take time to express gratitude for the simple things in life. Embrace the beauty of the world around you, no matter how small. By acknowledging and appreciating the present moment, you can elevate your mood and approach the day with a positive mindset. I like to start each day listing 3 things I'm grateful for.
